OBJECTIVES
1. TO MAKE THE NEED TO CHANGE VISIBLE THROUGH POSITIVE, INSPIRING AND EDUCATIONAL FILMS
2. TO CREATE A GLOBAL FILM FAMILY AND PLATFORM TO SUPPORT GREEN FILM DIRECTORS AND THE GREEN COMMUNITY
3. TO MAKE POSITIVE AND INSPIRING FILMS AND TO TRAIN THE NEXT GENERATIONS OF GREEN FILMMAKERS
4. TO SET UP DEDICATED CLIMATE FILM COLLABORATIONS & STUDIOS LOCALLY & GLOBALLY TO MAKE ‘CLIMATE ORIGINAL’ FILMS
5. TO PROVIDE HELP TO STORYTELLERS AND SCRIPTWRITERS ON HOW TO INCLUDE POSITIVE GREEN STORYTELLING WITHIN FILMS AND THE MEDIA
OUR VALUES
Our values create a safe and inclusive space for connecting, sharing, supporting and inspiring green change. We aim to help people to find themselves and to support them on their pathway.
FILMS CAN OF ANY LENGTH AND ANY TOPIC but they must have a green theme, climate and the environment and BE POSITIVE to INSPIRE CHANGE. Let's see seen your passion and hear your voice.
YOU CALL THE SHOTS - The film can be:
An interview, a short film, a feature film, filmed poetry, art or music, comedy or technology, community project, a silent feature whatever inspires you with a GREEN message in film aligned to one of the following THEMES
AWARDS
1. All films accepted into the festival will receive the festival laurels
2. Category Award winners will each receive winners laurels and a prestigious international Climate Award, a carved wooden sculpture by local sculpture, Anthony Rogers (see link below) and the runners up will receive a tree to plant in the UK.
3. You will be also be invited to join the Global Film Family to support each other as we try to accelerate green change through film around the world

ENTRIES are FREE, but an admin change of between £5 to £10 UK pounds ($5 to $10) would be most welcome if you can afford it, this would really help the festival which is self-funded. Please use the link 'Please Donate & Support' below.
To submit via FilmFreeway, click the logo. OPENS 1st JANUARY 2026 and CLOSES on 1st MARCH 2026, just 2 months to submit your films.

We want your positive films about Climate and the Environment - FORMAT for entries the same as YOUTUBE, use your phone and let's get filming. (MP4 file type and also recommends h.264 video codec and aspect ratio of 16:9) Shout if you need help.
